Toast is small and comfortable, with colorful, breakfast-themed art on the walls and decorative toasters lurking in odd corners. Although breakfast is still the best meal here, with the greatest pancakes you’ll ever eat, Toast is now a full, three-a-day operation with burgers, salads and sandwiches on the board at lunch and dinner. But at any hour, the intoxicating atmosphere could be partly nitrous oxide: a couple of deep breaths, and suddenly everything is Day-Glo and an hour evaporates in five minutes.

Overall:

I was really expecting to have a wonderful breakfast, but was very disappointed! The prices are really high($7.00 for 2 plain pancakes. I really prefer I Hops pancakes and also their price. My friend had eggs, sasuage and a couple of grapes for $9.00 and the serving was very small for that price. We had to stand and wait 25 min before they even let you order your food, then you wait another 15 before you get the food. No room and everyone can hear your conversation. I won't go there again.

Overall:

Interesting little restaurant with innovative ways of dressing up breakfast. Portions are huge - unless you go with someone who wants to share the same dishes, you will be probably be leaving or bagging a lot of food. Prices reflect the mountain of food per order and I think the place would do well to cut volume and price by 25%

Overall:

I ate there twice this week; once with my wife and another occaision with the whole family. Our first visit we really enjoyed the breakfast burrito we ordered. Our second visit resulted in me wondering if we will return anytime soon. My scrambled eggs were over cooked, the kind that just sat in the pan while the cook was busy with a more complex preparation; toasty brown on the bottom with hard air bubbles inside. My dry toast was heavily buttered, the strawberry moldy and my grapes dirty. My wife's meal was late to the table, so by the time the kids had finished their pancakes and wer ebouncing off the walls she was able to sit and enjoy her meal all alone. I will say that the wait staff corrected the toast and hurried the lost plate out to our table. The kids options are wonderful creations, but full of sugar. And, I am still trying to wrap my head around the concept of ordering at the counter. It shouldn't be that difficult since I do it everyday at other restaurants, but at Toast it just seems like it is a diffucult and unnecessary task. Having lived in Littleton for seven years, Toast is a welcome change, and I am sure we will return, just not right away.

Overall:

All these bad reviews...if you are up for fancy breakfast at any price then this is the place...it is not cheap but the food reflects the quality of the ingredients. I suggest the sampler pancake platter as the oreo cookie pancake is worth the price of admission by itself. I have been to Toast at least 8 times and everytime it was a master stroke.

Overall:

So many comments on the food being expensive. Where are you people eating? They are very comparable to other breakfast joints that I go to. Yeah if you are expecting your average greasy trucker diner fare then Toast is not for you and you may find it to be expensive and over the top.
Toast has great portions, creative dishes and a fun atmosphere. If you are looking for a twist on breakfast this is a place to try. My only wish is that you guys were in Denver. Maybe that is the problem. You need to move to Denver where people will welcome a change from the norm.
